This was our biggest group yet!! And there were lots of new folks-- hopefully no one scared away because as you see in the photos this was the muddiest run of the 08 season. We started the adventure as one big group-- and quickly spread out into a trio of groups. From Bryant Cabin the groups went 3 different ways -- 1. Birch Loop, 2. Heavenly Highway to Moose Glen and 3. Heavenly Highway to Stowe View. The bog areas on Heavenly Highway were incredibly wet and it made the adventure quite amusing-- no shoes were totally lost in the muck, but there were several close calls ... and some serious laughing by all.
And as luck would have it all the groups returned to the Nordic Center within 5 minutes of each other for some Coffee Talk and pumpkin scones.
For the record- Annie and Mackenzie showed up only couple minutes late-- but not in time to make it into the official photo.

you're funny. thanks for including us. Honestly as we were pulling into the parking lot I was congratulating Mac on our perfect timing... only to discover that what one person thiks is perfect another group thinks is late!!! Sorry all!
